Your home router knows when the internet broke and forgets it by morning. RouterLog keeps the record: it captures the router's log, pairs the fragments into whole outages, and names the causes a router cannot report about itself, from an upstream that dies while the cable stays live to the scan that quietly stalls the house at 2am.

Most home cameras ship your footage to someone else's cloud and charge a monthly fee to keep it. Porchlight records every camera around the clock onto hardware you own, archives it to your own storage, and looks after itself: dropped streams, network blips and a storage share that goes missing are caught and recovered without anyone at the keyboard. Nothing leaves the house.

Ads align a company's incentives against its users' interests. We don't run them, and we never will.
Your name, habits, and history are yours. The only data that leaves our products is anonymous aggregate statistics, never tied to you.
Servers are in Alberta. Your data doesn't leave the country or fall under US jurisdiction.
